1. About Our Business

Hidden View Lawn Furniture is a small family-run business handcrafting poly outdoor furniture in the mountains of Virginia. Every piece is built to order, one at a time, using durable poly lumber and traditional craftsmanship.

2. Made-to-Order Work

Our furniture is built to each customer’s order, in the color or two-tone combination they select. Because poly lumber is produced in batches and colors render differently on screens, slight variations between website swatches, physical samples, and the finished piece are normal and are not considered defects.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of quoting.
  • Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.
  • Any changes in styles, colors, quantities, or options may result in updated pricing.

4. Deposit & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin any order.
  • The remaining balance is due at delivery or pickup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has begun.

Payments may be made by cash, check, or other agreed-upon payment methods.

5. Turnaround Time

Typical turnaround time is 4–8 weeks, depending on order size and current workload. This timeframe is an estimate and may be affected by material availability, weather, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.

6. Delivery & Pickup

We offer local delivery, and orders may also be picked up at our workshop by arrangement. For deliveries, customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery area is accessible, cleared, and safe. Any return trips caused by site conditions not previously communicated may incur additional fees.

7. Changes, Revisions & Cancellations

Once work has begun:

  • Changes are allowed but may incur additional fees based on work already completed (pro-rated time and materials).
  • Materials already cut, assembled, or purchased cannot be refunded.
  • Cancellations after work begins may result in the forfeiture of the deposit and additional charges for labor or materials used.

8. Warranty on Craftsmanship

We stand behind our work with a craftsmanship warranty covering defects in workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, improper cleaning, or modifications
  • Normal wear, scratches, or minor surface changes from outdoor exposure
  • Damage caused by severe weather, fire, or other events outside our control

If a craftsmanship issue arises, please contact us and we will assess the situation.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Confirm styles, colors, and quantities before production begins
  • Ensure reasonable access for delivery, or arrange pickup
  • Make timely payments according to agreed terms

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

Poly lumber is a manufactured material with natural batch characteristics; minor variations in color, sheen, or texture between production runs — or between on-screen swatches and the physical material — are not considered defects.

11. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Not misuse or attempt to harm the site
  • Not copy or redistribute our images, designs, or content without permission

All website content is owned by our family business and protected by copyright laws.

12. Privacy & Communication

When you contact us, you may provide personal information such as your name, phone number, email, location, and order details. 13. Service Area

We primarily serve the mountains of Virginia and surrounding Southwest Virginia communities, but may accept orders outside this area on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to ask about delivery to your location.
